Araik Harutyunyan Faces Life Imprisonment in Baku
The former president of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, is facing life imprisonment. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan and the State Security Service, according to RIA Novosti.
"During the investigation, substantial evidence has emerged suggesting that Araik Harutyunyan participated in the aggressive war as the 'fictitious president of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic' within Azerbaijani territory," the statement read.
On October 3, it was revealed that employees of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan had arrested former Artsakh president Araik Harutyunyan.
