Document: What Position Does Sargis Galstyan Hold

Sargis Galstyan has not been appointed to any position by Azerbaijan, and there have been no documents or verbal discussions with Baku regarding this matter. This was reported to MediaHub by a source in Stepanakert, who also provided a document supporting this statement.

It is noted: “Since yesterday, the Armenian press has been discussing the appointment of Sargis Galstyan as the head of the emergency situation in Artsakh by the Baku regime. However, the reality is that Galstyan is currently the only official in Artsakh, who was appointed as the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Artsakh by President Samvel Shahramanyan on September 28. He is also the only official dealing with the issues of the remaining population in Artsakh, such as medical care, transportation, and more. The only document attached for publication relates to Sargis Galstyan.”

It should be noted that yesterday news circulated claiming that Sergey Galstyan had been appointed as the head of the emergency situations in Stepanakert. Today, David Galstyan, a member of the “Justice” faction in the Artsakh Parliament, denied the rumors about his uncle being appointed as the head of the emergency situations in Stepanakert.
