Some Streets of Stepanakert Now Feature Azerbaijani Names Alongside Armenian Ones
The Yandex.Maps service has altered the names of certain streets in the main city of Artsakh, Stepanakert, now adding Azerbaijani names alongside the Armenian ones. At the beginning of September, the names on the maps were provided solely in Armenian. Now, they are listed in the format of 'Azerbaijani name/Armenian name.' The main street of the city is now referred to as Azerbaijan Boulevard/ Veterans of the Artsakh War, among others.
This trend can also be seen in other cities of Artsakh, with streets being renamed in Martakert (Aghdere), Martuni (Khojavend), and various other settlements.
