Any Geopolitical Change in the Region Will Disrupt Stability, Iranian Official
The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, General Ali Akbar Ahmadian, stated during a meeting with his Armenian counterpart, Armen Grigoryan, that the efforts of all parties are necessary to establish peace in the Caucasus region, as reported by Tasnim.
Ahmadian emphasized that this is important not only for peace but also from a security perspective. The high-ranking Iranian security official warned that any geopolitical change in the region would disrupt stability and deepen the crisis.
“Sincere and constructive dialogue among the countries in the region will pave the way for stable security, balanced development, as well as the welfare and comfort of the regional population,” said the Iranian official. He added that Iran is ready to create opportunities for meetings between the countries of the region.
