«The Artsakh issue still has a long way to go and this is just the beginning»: Stepan Danielyan
The Artsakh issue still has a long way to go and this is just the beginning. Political scientist Stepan Danielyan wrote this on his Facebook page.
“In short. - The Russians needed the war to introduce troops into Artsakh, - the Americans needed the fall of Artsakh for the Russian troops to leave Artsakh and then from Armenia. The question is, - Is the Artsakh issue closed, or will it be used again, to establish a military base of another country there, to control the region, and for that, it will be necessary to deport Armenians there again. The Artsakh issue still has a long way to go and this is just the beginning. The struggle for the South Caucasus has only just begun, and this region is the intersection of Europe-Asia, and the Middle East-Central Asia lines. The most unlikely alliances and conflicts are not to be excluded.”
