CEC Approves the Composition of Yerevan City Council

The Central Electoral Commission summarized the applications for self-withdrawals from candidates included in the proportional lists of political forces participating in the Yerevan City Council elections during its session on September 28.

Self-withdrawal applications were submitted only by candidates Vahagn Karapetyan, Margarita Khachatryan, and Ruzanna Yeremyan from the electoral list of the 'Civil Contract' party. Since the submitted self-withdrawal requests have been notarized, they did not participate in the meeting.

CEC Chairman Vahagn Hovakimyan expressed gratitude to the CEC staff, the Yerevan electoral commissions, all involved in the electoral system for organizing free and transparent elections.

As of September 27, the deadline for filing lawsuits regarding the election results has passed, and none of the 14 participating forces filed a complaint with the Administrative Court.
