VIDEO: We Will Take All Measures to Preserve Our Independence, Nikol Pashinyan
The security systems and allies we have relied on for many years have posed a challenge to showcase our vulnerabilities and undermine the impossibility of the Armenian people's independence as a state. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement in his address to the public today.
According to him, this policy is not at all connected to the revolution that took place in Armenia in 2018. Pashinyan added that we have periodically seen the manifestations of this policy in recent decades.
"We have never agreed to formulations that put the independence of the Republic of Armenia into doubt, but it is concerning that instead of listening to our will to have an independent, self-sufficient, free, and democratic state, some of our partners in the security sector are increasingly exerting efforts to showcase our vulnerabilities, now putting not only our external but also our internal security and stability at risk, during which they are violating all norms of diplomatic, inter-state relations ethics and decorum, up to the obligations assumed by treaties," Prime Minister Pashinyan stated.
