VIDEO: Citizens with Severe Injuries Transferred from Artsakh to Armenia
The Ministry of Health of Armenia reports that 23 individuals from Artsakh, who have sustained severe and critical injuries, are being transported to Armenia via 23 ambulances accompanied by specialists.
“Currently, they have crossed the Hakari Bridge with the assistance of the Red Cross. Additional information will be provided,” the ministry stated.
It is noteworthy that Nella Grigoryan, a member of the Artsakh National Assembly, has detailed the disastrous situation in Artsakh, stating that preliminary data indicates there are over 300 missing persons and around 300 casualties. The office of the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh has reported more than 400 injured individuals.
Recall that Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack against Artsakh on September 19. Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire along the entire contact line, delivering missile and artillery strikes.
On September 20, it became known that the authorities of Artsakh accepted the proposal from the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent regarding a ceasefire. A meeting between representatives of Artsakh and Azerbaijan took place in Azerbaijan's Yevlakh on September 21, facilitated by Russian peacekeepers.
