First Group of Artsakh Citizens Reaches Kornidzor
The first group of citizens from Nagorno-Karabakh has reached Kornidzor. This was reported by a correspondent of ‘Lurere’ from Kornidzor.
Earlier, the government of Nagorno-Karabakh announced that families who became homeless due to the recent military operations and expressed a desire to leave Nagorno-Karabakh would be transported to Armenia, accompanied by Russian peacekeepers.
It is noteworthy that Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack against Artsakh on September 19. The Azerbaijani military violated the ceasefire along the entire contact line, carrying out rocket and artillery strikes.
On September 20, it became known that the authorities of Artsakh accepted the proposal of the Russian peacekeeping mission command regarding the cessation of fire.
On September 21, with the mediation of Russian peacekeepers, a meeting took place in the Azerbaijani city of Yevlakh between representatives of Artsakh and Azerbaijan.
