The Situation in Jermuk Is Calm, Says Mayor
The situation in Jermuk is calm. This was stated by the mayor of Jermuk, Vahagn Arsenyan, on his Facebook page:
“The various news spread by ‘media’ and mainly the ‘strange’ information disseminated through unofficial sources create a wrong perception of the tourist city, where there are still many tourists (mainly from abroad) at this moment.
People who are talking about and ‘concerned’ about the situation in Jermuk and the fate of our city are those who had a year’s time and opportunity to contribute, even to a small extent, to the city’s revitalization during their visits to the former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, but they have not even tried—preferring now to make assumptions and spread panic from afar.
If you do not have the opportunity to help, at least choose the option of not hindering, as your ‘analyses’ are also read and viewed by the peaceful residents living in this city. Follow only the news feed from the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia,” the post reads.
It should be recalled that the former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, reported that Azerbaijan is also accumulating special forces units
