Accident on Karinch-Marzt Road: One Fatality and Injured

On September 7, at 10:14 AM, the Crisis Management Center of the Lori Regional Rescue Service received a call regarding an accident near the village of Karinch, requiring the assistance of rescuers.

A firefighting rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that a 'Mitsubishi' vehicle (driver: A.G.) had veered off the roadway at the 1st kilometer of the Karinch-Marzt highway and rolled approximately 40 meters into an adjacent ravine.

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver’s body was retrieved from the vehicle by locals. The rescuers disconnected the electricity of the vehicle, shut off the gas tank valve, extricated passenger H.K., and transported them approximately 40 meters to the ambulance on a stretcher. The injured individual was hospitalized at a medical center.
