Reconciliation between Azerbaijan and Armenia is Possible, Says Hajiyev
Azerbaijani presidential advisor Hikmet Hajiyev has stated on X (formerly Twitter) that reconciliation between Azerbaijan and Armenia is possible if Armenia apologizes for its "past atrocities."
"These are unfounded accusations against Azerbaijan. There is no suffocation or blockade against the Armenian residents of Azerbaijan's Karabakh region. What Azerbaijan proposes is having multiple routes available. One important route is the Aghdam-Khankendi (Aghdam-Stepanakert) road. It is much more efficient and has better logistical opportunities for reaching the Karabakh region because Azerbaijan has fully reconstructed it," wrote Hajiyev.
Hajiyev noted that they had invited dialogue but received a rejection from the Armenian side. According to the advisor to the Aliyev regime, this is a destructive attitude. "They also refuse essential food products or anything coming from Azerbaijan. This is racism. Because of the origin of foodstuffs, they stated they would not accept it," Hajiyev emphasized.
