Photos: Araik Harutyunyan and Armen Grigoryan Depart for Syunik on Yerevan-Kapan Flight
RA Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff Araik Harutyunyan, along with Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan, has departed for Kapan from Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport on a representative flight in honor of Kapan Day. This was reported by the government’s press service.
“They were welcomed at Syunik Airport by Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan and other officials. The high-ranking officials toured the Syunik Airport to familiarize themselves with the established conditions,” the statement said.
The Chief of Staff and the Secretary of the Security Council will participate in the festive events held on the occasion of Kapan Day.
It should be noted that regular flights from Yerevan to Kapan will commence today. Earlier, it was reported that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan traveled to Syunik province on the Yerevan-Kapan flight on August 17.
Recall that on April 26, at 10:58 a.m., an airplane that took off from Yerevan's Zvartnots Airport landed at Kapan's Syunik Airport. The flight was operated using a Czech-built L-410-UVP E20 aircraft (designed for 19 passengers).
