EU Offers Assistance to Baku and Yerevan to Advance Resolution Process
The EU remains committed to its call to Azerbaijan and Armenia to continue seeking solutions necessary for the normalization of relations between the two countries, stated EU spokesperson for foreign affairs and security policy Peter Stano.
“We urge Azerbaijan and Armenia to fulfill their commitments to find solutions on all aspects of the agenda. Whether it is the issue of the Lachin Corridor or the normalization of relations, we are ready to assist. Mediation efforts are being undertaken by European Council President Mr. Michel. Our special representative for the region, Toivo Klaar, is currently on the ground, continuing the EU's efforts,” Stano said in a press briefing today in Brussels.
