EU Mission Confirms Fire in Its Area of Responsibility

The EU mission has removed its previous statement and confirmed in a new announcement that fire has been directed in its area of responsibility. This was reported on the EU's Twitter page.

Earlier, we reported that the EU mission in Armenia denied a statement made by the Armenian Ministry of Defense regarding the Azerbaijani side firing at EU patrols conducting observation in the Upper Shorzha area.

It is noteworthy that on August 15 at approximately 12:20 PM, Azerbaijani Armed Forces units opened fire with small arms towards EU observers conducting patrols and their vehicles in the Upper Shorzha direction.
