Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Calls Spain's Decision to Aid Artsakh Armenians Unconstructive
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has responded to the decision of the Spanish Embassy in Russia to support 250 families displaced from Artsakh to Armenia.
"It is strange to see how a country that fights against separatism within its own territory simultaneously supports separatism in other countries. It is unacceptable for Spain to encourage the illegal separatist regime established by Armenia on Azerbaijan's sovereign territory. We strongly condemn this unconstructive approach," the statement reads.
It is worth noting that on the Twitter page of the Spanish Embassy in Russia, a post was made in Armenian announcing that Spain would provide assistance to 250 families displaced from Artsakh to Armenia.
