Recently, there has been an active discussion online regarding an interview given by Artsakh activist Arthur Osipyan to the 1in.am news outlet. No matter how horrifying it is to say and hear, Osipyan mentions that there are indeed numerous problems in Artsakh, but there is no famine, and that the international community should not be misled. There have always been people who faced bread shortages, just as there are people who have had enough to eat.

Additionally, it should be noted that another representative from Artsakh, Tigran Petrosyan, also gave an interview to an Azerbaijani blogger yesterday. Such statements are astonishing and inexplicable, especially since there are videos and photos from Artsakh showing lines for bread and basic necessities, fainting children, pregnant women, and elderly people.

Moreover, these statements provide fertile ground for Azerbaijan, which seeks nothing more than to take such interviews, twist them, and conduct propaganda, something they have successfully done in this case.
