Tensions Rise Outside the Government Building: Protesters Face Arrest
Protesters, including participants of the Artsakh war, have been holding a demonstration outside the Government building since this morning, with police attempting to make arrests. The situation began to escalate when authorities attempted to close off roads leading to Republic Square.
A considerable number of police forces were deployed to the square shortly ago. Officers have given the protesters time to disperse and reopen the roads, stating that their actions are not lawful.
It is noteworthy that several participants of the First Artsakh War have been protesting near the government building since early this morning, demanding the unblocking of the Lachin corridor.
