I am Resigning My Parliamentary Mandate and Participating in the City Council Elections for Regime Change: Andranik Tevanyan
The member of the "Armenia" faction, Andranik Tevanyan, has announced that he is resigning from his parliamentary mandate.
"The 'Mother Armenia' movement has set a goal to implement regime change, starting with the Yerevan city council elections," Tevanyan stated during the founding meeting of the movement.
He is the mayoral candidate of the movement. "I declare that I am resigning from my position as a member of the National Assembly of Armenia and participating in the city council elections for the sake of regime change. The objective will be one: either we return there as the ruling power, or the government should no longer have a role there," he remarked.
"And remember, ensuring the security of Armenia and Artsakh is the responsibility of all of us and each one of us. The Armenian government is no longer operating within the law," Tevanyan emphasized.
