Putin Announces That the US, NATO, and Ukraine Refuse to Negotiate with Russia
The US and NATO have refused to negotiate with Russia regarding equal security guarantees for all countries, while Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has legally established the impossibility of negotiating with Russia. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the plenary session of the Russia-Africa second summit, as reported by TASS.
“All conflicts should be resolved through negotiations, but the problem is that they refuse to negotiate with us. The conflict is based on the dangers created by the US and NATO that threaten Russia's security, and they refuse to negotiate on providing equal security for everyone, including Russia. As for Ukraine, more specifically the current Ukrainian regime, they are also refusing to negotiate. This has been officially announced, and the President of Ukraine has accepted the corresponding decree prohibiting negotiations,” said Putin.
He emphasized that he has repeatedly stated Russia's willingness to negotiate, but “Moscow cannot impose” negotiations.
Putin thanked his African partners for their attention to this issue and added that “it is necessary to engage in dialogue with the other side.”
