The Mother of a Fallen Soldier, Gayane Hakobyan, Re-Arrested
The court has sentenced Gayane Hakobyan, the mother of fallen soldier Zhora Martirosyan, to one month and 15 days of detention in connection with the alleged abduction case of Ashot Pashinyan.
On May 17, information surfaced that members of the NGO "Call of the Sons" attempted to abduct the Prime Minister's son. Following this, a report was filed with the police, leading the Armenian Investigative Committee to open a criminal case regarding the alleged abduction, resulting in the arrest of one person—Gayane Hakobyan.
Today, it became known that the preventive measure for Hakobyan has been changed, and she will now be under house arrest.
