Pashinyan Responds to Aliyev's Statements
The statements made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev yesterday are unclear. This was announced today by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan while presenting the execution of the 2022 budget in the National Assembly.
“Azerbaijan needs to clarify whether President Ilham Aliyev's statements yesterday indicate a rejection of the agreements reached in Brussels,” he stated.
He reminded that Armenia and Azerbaijan had agreed to mutually recognize territorial integrity, but the text that was released yesterday is very close to a rejection of that agreement, according to the Prime Minister.
“I do not want to speculate, I think we need to introduce additional clarifications so that we can plan our further actions,” he said.
