Yerevan and Baku Could Sign Peace Agreement on June 1 in Chisinau, Says Azerbaijani Ambassador
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev may sign a peace agreement on June 1 during the European Political Community summit in Chisinau. This was stated by Leyla Abdullayeva, the Azerbaijani ambassador in France, in an interview with Agence France-Presse.
Recall that a meeting between Aliyev and Pashinyan is expected in Chisinau on June 1, with the participation of Charles Michel, President of the European Council, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and French President Emmanuel Macron.
“We hope that on June 1, the peace agreement will finally be signed. This is a historic moment,” she said.
