Relatives of Two Armenian Soldiers Abducted by Azerbaijan Raise Alarm: RA Human Rights Defender
Relatives of two Armenian soldiers abducted by Azerbaijan on May 26 have reported to the hotline of the Human Rights Defender's Office seeking information about the whereabouts and health of the abducted individuals.
“Considering the requirements of international law, including international humanitarian law, the Defender calls on international organizations to immediately take steps to guarantee the rights of the abducted soldiers and facilitate their return to their homeland,” reads the statement from the Human Rights Defender.
It is noteworthy that an Azerbaijani court has made a decision to arrest the two Armenian soldiers.
