Today, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"Heydar Aliyev and you, Vladimir Vladimirovich, have established high-level relations between Russia and Azerbaijan: we appreciate our relations with Russia as allied, not only de facto but also de jure," said Ilham Aliyev.
Junior Aliyev also stated that after the recognition of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, negotiating the subsequent points of the agreement with Armenia will be much easier.
