Attempt to Kidnap Ashot Pashinyan Leaves Him Injured
According to Armenian time, around 15:00 today, an attempt was made to kidnap Ashot Pashinyan, the son of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, near his home.
Preliminary reports indicate that the kidnappers are members of the NGO 'Call of the Sons', who forced Ashot Pashinyan to get into their vehicle. However, at one point, Ashot managed to jump out of the moving car, resulting in him being hit by another vehicle following the organization.
Ashot Pashinyan sustained injuries to his leg, and members of the 'Call of the Sons' organization fled the scene. Ashot Pashinyan has reported the incident to the authorities.
It is noteworthy that Garik Galeyan, a member of the 'Call of the Sons' NGO, was also involved in the kidnapping attempt. This is not the first time Garik Galeyan has displayed unstable behavior; in 2022, he threatened terrorism by taking over a school and kindergarten.
