Hovhannes Bachkov Becomes World Championship Bronze Medalist
Bronze medalist of the Tokyo Olympic Games and three-time European champion Hovhannes Bachkov has won his fourth bronze medal at the boxing world championship.
In the semifinals, Hovhannes Bachkov fought against Uzbekistan's Asian champion Ruslan Abdullaev and lost with a score of 0:5. In all three rounds, the victory was unanimously awarded to the Uzbek boxer by the referees.
Hovhannes Bachkov has also secured bronze medals at the world championships in 2017, 2019, and 2021.
It is noteworthy that the boxing world championship is being held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
