Video: Seyran Ohanyan's Response to Anna Hakobyan's Statement

“Let me refrain from commenting on what family members have said,” stated former Minister of Defense and member of the 'Armenia' faction Seyran Ohanyan while addressing the recent remarks made by the wife of the Prime Minister, Anna Hakobyan, at the Yerablur military pantheon.

“It would be more appropriate to comment on what Nikol Pashinyan has said. When he talks about the fifth column, he must understand what he has done to prevent that fifth column from forming. During the 44-day war and afterwards, they did nothing; with their law enforcement system, they did not lift a finger to stop the escape and illegalities during the war, and during the war they encouraged all those structures that should have dealt with it. This means that if there is a fifth column, then there is also a sixth, and that is Pashinyan, who has encouraged this whole path,” added Ohanyan.

It should be recalled that during the 44-day war, we had 11,000 deserters—military personnel, volunteers, officers. This statement was made by Anna Hakobyan in the village of Ajarkut, Tavush.
