Russia Increases Oil Exports to India by 22 Times
“In 2022, the majority of Russian energy resource supplies were redirected to the markets of friendly countries,” declared Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak during the concluding meeting of the Russian Ministry of Energy's board.
Specifically, oil supplies to China have increased, while exports to India have surged by 22 times. Russian oil exports rose by 7.6% in 2022, reaching 242.2 million tons. Oil production in Russia increased by 2% last year, totaling 535.1 million tons.
