Governor Killed in Afghanistan Explosion; Several Injured
In an explosion that occurred in Balkh province, Afghanistan, two people have died, including the governor, Dawood Muzamal. This was reported by local authorities to RIA Novosti.
The provincial police reported that the explosion took place on Thursday during a meeting at the administration building. One source from the healthcare sector indicated that two people have died, and seven others have sustained injuries. A police source also added that the second deceased was a senior representative of the Taliban.
