Russia's Foreign Minister Responds to Armenian Leader's Statement
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, during a joint press conference in Baku with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, was asked to comment on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement that Russia's military presence in Armenia does not guarantee security and, on the contrary, poses a security threat.
“The statement by the Armenian leader that you quoted, I completely leave to his conscience,” said the Russian Foreign Minister briefly.
As previously reported, Pashinyan stated during a press conference on January 10 that Russia's military presence in Armenia not only does not guarantee Armenia's security but also creates threats to security.
