Saakashvili Urges Georgian President to Forget 'Old Offenses'
The former President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, has expressed his support for the country's current leader, Salome Zourabichvili. According to him, all political forces in the republic must unite with the country's leader against the 'Russian coup' that threatens the current government's stability.
'I support President Zourabichvili's recent statements and her call to fight for freedom. In my opinion, all political groups should unite against the Russian coup and hold uninterrupted consultations with the president. Now is not the time to remember old offenses,' Saakashvili wrote on his Facebook page.
As the former president noted, resistance is the duty of every true Georgian, starting from the current and former presidents.
