Dispute in Khndzoresk: Man Dies from Head Injuries

On February 22 at 03:00, a report was received at the Goris Police Department from the ambulance station, indicating that emergency services had been dispatched to a house in the village of Khndzoresk to provide assistance to a 49-year-old man, but he was found deceased.

A team from the department was sent to the specified address. Family members reported that his health had deteriorated sharply, and he had died suddenly.

According to the Goris Investigative Division, a criminal case has been initiated under the first part of Article 155 of the RA Criminal Code. Thanks to the efforts of the criminal investigators, it was determined that around 17:00 on February 22, a dispute had erupted over domestic matters between the 49-year-old man and a 23-year-old Khndzoresk youth in the administrative area of Khndzoresk.

The youth had pushed the 49-year-old man, causing him to hit the back of his head against a concrete barn. The man then returned home, where hours later he died from the injuries sustained to his head.

The 23-year-old was taken to the Goris Police Department, where, through explanatory work, he confessed to his actions and submitted a petition of guilt. He has been arrested. The documents compiled have been sent to the Goris Investigative Division.
