Photos: Over 90 People Stranded on Roads Due to Snowdrift, Rescuers Free Around 50 Vehicles Including 3 Ambulances
On February 21, at 02:13, a call was received at the Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center reporting that a truck was stuck in a snowdrift on the road leading to the village of Tsilqar, blocking the road on one side.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a firefighting-rescue team was dispatched from the regional rescue department to the scene. Between 04:02 and 05:11, rescuers managed to free 50 vehicles (95 citizens) from the Tsilqar-Spitak road blockage, including 3 ambulances.
