Italian Prime Minister Meloni Visits Kyiv
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has traveled to the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, where she is meeting with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Meloni also intends to visit the towns of Bucha and Irpin, which have been targeted by the Russian army's atrocities in this war.
This is Meloni's first visit to Ukraine. The Italian Prime Minister has repeatedly emphasized that Rome unequivocally supports NATO and EU positions regarding Ukraine and will continue to provide assistance to Kyiv.
Last June, Italy's former Prime Minister Mario Draghi visited Kyiv.
