Attempted Thefts from Coffee Vending Machines: Two Arrested
On February 13, at 4:00 AM, through the joint efforts of the community police officers, criminal investigators from the Erevan division, and the 1st platoon of the 4th battalion of the National Police of Armenia, two men, aged 52 and 50, were arrested on Avanesov Street while attempting to commit theft using an 'Opel' vehicle.
The police reported that it was determined in the division that the two men had used technical means to break open the coin box of a coffee vending machine located on Khaghagh Duni Street at around 2:30 AM and attempted to steal from it, but they did not complete the crime.
It was also revealed that they had attempted theft from other coffee vending machines installed in the Erevan administrative district.
The men have been presented to the investigative division, and the 'Opel' has been moved to a secured area of the division. An investigation is underway.
