«There are two very big lies in Lavrov's statement, and those lies are the reason why my Republican colleagues, who defend Russia, have reacted. One of the lies is that Armenia did not demand to blame Azerbaijan at the CSTO summit. Armenia demanded that the CSTO recognize Armenian territory. The second lie pertains to Nagorno-Karabakh, where he stated that the regions should be returned, and they offered it, and Armenia did not agree. This is an obvious lie. All Armenian governments have considered that the neighboring territories of Nagorno-Karabakh are a subject of negotiation, and they were taken as part of the negotiations regarding the issue of the independence of Artsakh,» said Aram Sargsyan, the president of the Republic party, during his appearance on the Noyan Tapan channel, commenting on the interview of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
