“We have fully supported Azerbaijan in its rightful cause and will continue to do so,” Akar

The Turkish Minister of Defense Hulusi Akar reaffirmed Ankara's support for Baku during his speech on the high-level observation day of the "Winter-2023" military exercises ongoing in Kars.

"Our cooperation with Azerbaijan continues. As you know, we have fully supported Azerbaijan in its rightful cause up until now and we will continue to do so going forward," Akar stated.

Akar expressed support for the efforts to establish sustainable peace and ensure stability between Azerbaijan and Armenia, highlighting the importance of normalizing relations between Armenia and Turkey. He also addressed the opening of the "Zangezur Corridor," noting that it would provide significant economic and social benefits for Azerbaijan and the entire region.
