Video: Zakharova's Conversation with Azerbaijani Journalist on Lachin Corridor and EU Mission in Armenia
Today, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, responding to a question from an Azerbaijani media reporter regarding the EU mission in Armenia, stated that judging by the depth of the question, the journalist knows everything perfectly well and has nothing to add. It was undoubtedly interesting to follow Maria Zakharova's interaction with Azerbaijani journalists.
According to reports, Zakharova responded to the Azerbaijani journalist's complaint that previous EU statements had been milder, whereas now there were harsh statements directed at the two neighbors, Azerbaijan and Russia, while a mission was being sent to Armenia. Zakharova seemed unaware that Azerbaijan had voted in the PACE to bring a case against itself to the International Tribunal, shared the Azerbaijani side's discontent, and practically repeated the absolutely undiplomatic statement made by the Russian Foreign Ministry yesterday.
Simultaneously, thinking that this would calm the Azerbaijani side, Zakharova stated that the EU no longer exists, and that this is essentially a NATO, or more precisely, a US mission.
The conversation between Zakharova and the Azerbaijani journalist is available in the video below.
