Macron Discusses Lachin Corridor Issue with Ara Toranian and Murad Papazian
French President Emmanuel Macron received co-chairs Ara Toranian and Murad Papazian of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations in France at the Élysée Palace on January 23. This was reported by the press service of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations in France.
Macron and representatives of the Armenian community discussed the situation in Artsakh stemming from the closure of the Lachin corridor since December 12, 2022. They also addressed threats concerning Armenia's territorial integrity.
The co-chairs of the CCAF welcomed Emmanuel Macron's attention towards them and expressed hope that France would play a more active role in protecting the population of Nagorno-Karabakh, currently threatened by ethnic cleansing, as well as in preserving the territorial integrity of Nagorno-Karabakh.
