Armenia Submits Memorandum to International Court of Justice Against Azerbaijan
Armenia has submitted a memorandum to the International Court of Justice concerning the application of the "International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination" against Azerbaijan. This information was published by Armenia's representative on international legal matters, Yeghishe Kirakosyan.
On January 23, 2023, Armenia presented a memorandum to the International Court of Justice, detailing Azerbaijan's gross violations of the convention over decades. Kirakosyan announced this on his Twitter account.
Armenia has filed a lawsuit against Azerbaijan within the framework of the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination at the United Nations. The court is scheduled to hold hearings regarding Armenia's application on January 30.
