The Government is Busy Organizing a Lavish Party in Ijevan, Says MP
The Chair of the Standing Committee on Protection of Human Rights and Public Affairs, Taguhi Tovmasyan, organized a discussion in parliament today on the topic of "The Current State of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Existing Issues in the Army, and Approaches to Their Resolution."
In his remarks, Gegham Manukyan, an MP from the "Hayastan" faction, stated that the government is not focused on solving problems or equipping the frontline, but rather on salvaging its reputation. He emphasized, "Instead of addressing priority issues, the government is occupied with the patrols, organizing a lavish party in Ijevan after buying expensive vehicles for the patrolmen, which should be assessed by our society."
