Poland's Deputy Foreign Minister Says Germany Could Face International Isolation
Germany will find itself in international isolation if it does not agree to supply Leopard tanks to Ukraine. This was stated by Poland's Deputy Foreign Minister Arkadiusz Mularczyk in an interview with Polish Radio. The information is reported by RIA Novosti.
On Sunday, Germany's Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announced that Germany is ready to positively respond to countries' requests to supply Ukrainian forces with tanks made in Germany if such requests exist. According to Mularczyk, Berlin's new statement indicates that the pressures from Central and Eastern European countries, Great Britain, and the United States have had an impact.
“It should be understood that Germany, by refusing to send tanks to Ukraine, is finding itself in international isolation. If they continue to adhere to this position, their stance will be significantly weakened,” he said.
“The Germans and the French understand this well,” the Polish Deputy Foreign Minister added.
