Azerbaijan Must Understand That Peace Cannot Be Achieved at the Cost of Armenian Lives: Ruben Vardanyan
Azerbaijan must understand that peace cannot be achieved at the cost of Armenian lives. This was stated by the Minister of State of Artsakh, Ruben Vardanyan, on his Twitter page.
“We are ready for constructive dialogue on what peace means for Armenians and Azerbaijanis. But we will never renounce our right to live with dignity, respect, and freedom in our homeland, Artsakh,” wrote the Minister.
It is noted that as a result of Azerbaijan's latest provocations, the Republic of Artsakh has been under blockade since December 12, violating the rights of 120,000 people, including 30,000 children. The Stepanakert-Goris interstate road, which is the only route connecting Artsakh to Armenia, continues to be completely closed by the Azerbaijani side under the pretext of “environmental concerns.” As a result, 1,100 people, including 270 children, have been deprived of the opportunity to return home.
