The decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding partial mobilization continues to be in effect, as it encompasses not only the necessary recruitment of citizens, which has been completed. This was stated by the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov on Monday, in response to a question about why the mobilization decree has not been canceled, despite its completion. The information is reported by TASS.

"As for the appeal for partial mobilization, this process has concluded. Here, I suggest focusing on the words and statements of the President of Russia. However, the decree also includes other functions necessary for the Ministry of Defense," said the Kremlin spokesperson.

According to him, the conscription within the framework of partial mobilization was carried out for as long as it was necessary to meet the established number required for the completion of tasks assigned by the armed forces. Nevertheless, Peskov emphasized that, in addition to the conscription of citizens for military service, partial mobilization also includes other measures necessary to ensure the tasks of the armed forces, which are related to the fulfillment of obligations by military personnel, and so on.

"In that regard, it continues to operate," said the Kremlin representative.
