Unknown Individuals Slash Tires and Burn Animal Feed in Border Village of Movses; Residents Establish Night Watch
In the early hours of January 21, an unknown individual slashed the tires of numerous parked vehicles in one of the neighborhoods of the border village of Movses, located in the Berd community, around 2:30 AM. This was reported by journalist Voskang Sarksyan on his Facebook page.
“On the night of January 22, a resident of Movses, descending from the second floor of his house, noticed an unfamiliar person and, alarmed, asked, ‘Who are you?’ The stranger fled,” he wrote.
Residents of Movses have reported these incidents to the police and intend to organize nighttime watch duties in the village.
The village head, Zaven Papyan, confirmed the events to News.am but did not provide further details, stating that he is busy at the border.
