«Both Russia and Putin exist and will exist»: Peskov responds to Zelensky
Russian President Vladimir Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov has commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statements made during the Davos Economic Forum, where he expressed uncertainty about whom and how to negotiate peace with, not knowing who makes decisions and doubting whether Putin is alive.
“It is clear that both Russia and Putin are a significant issue for both the current Ukraine and Zelensky. And it is understandable that psychologically, Zelensky would prefer that neither Russia nor Putin existed. However, the sooner the Ukrainian regime realizes that both Russia and Putin exist and will exist, the better it will be for a country like Ukraine,” Peskov stated.
According to him, the quicker the Ukrainian regime shows a willingness to consider Russia's demands, which will be acquired in one way or another, the sooner everything will be resolved.
“And thus, the faster the people of Ukraine will begin to recover from the tragedy orchestrated by the Kyiv regime,” Peskov added.
