Intimidating Actions Against Children Returning to Stepanakert, Says Tatoyan

Recently, Azerbaijani government "eco-activist" agents committed intimidating actions against 19 children returning to Stepanakert from Goris. They invaded the vehicle transporting the children with covered faces and displayed openly cynical behavior.

This was reported by Arman Tatoyan, the director of the Center for Law and Justice and former Human Rights Defender of Armenia, on his Facebook page. He further mentioned, "Subsequently, they illegally filmed the children and cynically shared their images in the Azerbaijani media and social networks. Due to these provocative actions, one of the children even fainted. As a result of actions taken by Russian peacekeepers, they were removed from the vehicle, which then continued on its way. Furthermore, as they passed through a blocked area of the road, Azerbaijanis demonstratively shouted at the vehicles transporting the children." The fact was recorded by the Human Rights Defender of Artsakh, Gegham Stepanyan.
