Guinea-Bissau President Delivers Putin's 'Message' to Zelensky
The President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló, delivered a verbal message from Russian President Vladimir Putin to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting in Kyiv, as reported by Lenta.ru.
During a press conference in Kyiv, Embaló stated that during his visit to Moscow, Putin asked him to convey a 'message' to Zelensky. 'Yesterday, I was in Russia with President Putin. He asked me to send you a message and talk to you,' Embaló said.
The message, according to Embaló, is that Russian-Ukrainian negotiations are necessary. He added that dialogue is especially crucial for continuing food supplies to Africa.
In response, Zelensky said that for negotiations to take place, it is essential to 'not blow up the infrastructure.'
