Iran's Vice President to Azerbaijan's Prime Minister: 'Borders of Iran's Neighbors are Red Lines'
The First Vice President of Iran, Mohammad Mohber, emphasized during a meeting with Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov that the tripartite cooperation document among Iran, Russia, and Azerbaijan plays a significant role in expanding relations. This information was conveyed by Mehr.
According to the Vice President, there are vast opportunities to enhance bilateral relations in the transportation sector, and Tehran is committed to strengthening cooperation with Baku.
He noted that the expansion of preferential trade aimed at increasing the volume of bilateral trade is among Iran's strategies and urged the utilization of existing capabilities between Iran and Azerbaijan for further trade expansion.
The First Vice President declared that the Islamic Republic of Iran considers Azerbaijan as a 'brother' and is ready to extend multilateral cooperation with Baku. He also emphasized that the borders of Iran’s neighbors are red lines, and Tehran will not accept threats against those borders.
